Question : My Azaleas dried up in Feb when I repotted them? What can I do to avoid damage like this in future?

Mrs Satwant, Zirakpur, Punjab.

Answer : Azaleas need acidic soil. In all probability you used local soil to repot thus increasing the PH of soil. You must water Azaleas with 1 gm per ltr soln of Alum once a week to maintain the Acidity of soil. Adding sulphur also helps. Also azaleas need shade in your area and daily watering but no water logging. If you can fulfill these requirements then the plant will bring spring joy to you for many years to come .

All the best in next winters.
